This position utilizes advanced AI-powered video analytics and alarm monitoring software to detect, assess, and respond to security and life-safety incidents in real time.
As a SOC Operator, you will play a critical role in protecting people, property, and assets by monitoring sophisticated surveillance systems, verifying alarms, and coordinating emergency response services when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live video surveillance feeds and alarm systems using advanced AI-assisted monitoring software.
- Respond to intrusion, fire, and life-safety alarms in accordance with established procedures.
- Assess AI-generated alerts and video events to determine appropriate response actions.
- Communicate with Police, RCMP, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services when incidents require emergency response.
- Coordinate with Security Guards and mobile personnel to ensure timely incident response.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions taken, and communications.
- Follow detailed operating procedures while maintaining professionalism, situational awareness, and attention to detail.
- Operate multi-line communication systems and monitoring platforms in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications

- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Possess a valid Driver's License.
- Have reliable personal transportation.
- Have a smartphone with a data plan for work-related communications.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm during emergency situations.
- Be capable of following detailed instructions and established procedures.
- Be comfortable working with multiple computer systems and AI-powered monitoring technology.
- Be able to work shifts of up to 8 hours.
Work Environment
This position is based in a secure, climate-controlled Security Operations Centre. Operators monitor multiple displays, AI-generated alerts, surveillance systems, alarm signals, and communication systems while working in a professional team environment.
This role requires sustained concentration, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Schedule
Available shifts include:
- 08:00 – 16:00
- 16:00 – 00:00
- 00:00 – 08:00
Shifts may include weekdays, weekends, overnight shifts, and statutory holidays. Successful candidates should be available to work a variety of shifts based on operational requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage: $18.00 per hour
- Additional $1.00 per hour incentive bonus after completing 1,000 hours of service.

Performance & Retention Bonus Program
We believe in recognizing and rewarding commitment, reliability, and performance. Eligible employees may qualify for the following bonuses:
- Monthly Performance Incentive: Up to $200 per month
- 3-Month Retention Bonus: $300
- 6-Month Retention Bonus: $600
- 1-Year Retention Bonus: $1,500
