Full job description

Job Duties:

Provide medical standby-by services and respond to any emergency as per your training and provincial scope of practice
Set-up or update STARS site number, and complete BTS paperwork package
Conduct and maintain proper and accurate headcount unless otherwise advised
Review and advise on emergency response plans as it relates to a specific site and scope
Conduct site safety tours and pre-job inspections prior to completing hazard assessments
Participate in all Safety Meetings. Review SDS for hazardous materials
Incident reporting and assist in investigations as required
Participate in emergency drills as required by Bravo Target Safety and/or the Client
Maintain medical equipment in ready state and submit checklists biweekly
Maintain a professional and always committed attitude towards all personal on site
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must have an active Advanced Care Paramedic license with the Alberta College of Paramedics
2 years of prehospital experience
Oil and gas or construction experience is an asset
BLS, ACLS, ITLS
Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
H2S Alive
Demonstrated leadership in all aspects of the job with the ability to work in a team environment
Excellent organizational, written, and communication skills
Computer proficiency with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to work away from home for extended periods of time, work long hours and be able to work both day and night shift
Class 4 driver’s license with 4 or less demerits
Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol testing
