Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-end residential landscape construction projects. This role is suited for an experienced professional who has successfully managed complex, multi-trade residential builds and can confidently oversee multiple projects at once.
Our projects include complete outdoor environments—hardscaping, softscaping, concrete, carpentry, irrigation, and landscape lighting—executed to premium standards. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator, a decisive leader in the field, and highly organized in both planning and execution.
This position requires proven senior-level project management experience in residential construction or landscape construction. Entry-level or assistant-level applicants will not be considered.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Construction Management
- Manage all phases of high-end residential landscape construction projects, from pre-construction planning through final completion.
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Develop and manage detailed construction schedules, work plans, and sequencing across trades.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coordinate, and hold accountable internal crews and subcontractors across:
- Hardscaping and softscaping
- Concrete and carpentry
- Irrigation and drainage systems
- Landscape lighting installations
- Provide on-site leadership, mentorship, and direction to foremen and crew leads.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets design intent and company standards.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, designers, and consultants.
- Communicate project progress, timelines, and changes clearly and professionally.
- Proactively manage expectations and resolve issues before they impact the client experience.
- Represent the company at a level appropriate for luxury residential clients.
Quality, Safety & Problem Solving
- Ensure all work complies with construction best practices, horticultural standards, and approved designs.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain organized, professional job sites.
- Identify and resolve construction challenges related to grading, drainage, materials, scheduling, or trade coordination.
Required Experience & Qualifications
This is a senior-level role. Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- 3+ years of project management experience in residential construction, landscape construction, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple active projects simultaneously.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Hardscape construction
- Softscape installation
- Concrete and carpentry
- Irrigation and landscape lighting systems
- Proven ability to lead crews and subcontractors in a field-based environment.
- Exceptional communication skills with homeowners, designers, and trades.
- High level of organization, accountability, and decision-making ability.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform site-based responsibilities.
Assets (not required):
- Landscape design or planning experience
- Formal project management training or certification
- Experience working exclusively in high-end or custom residential environments
