Full job description

Join a thriving team of allied health professionals at Ruby Therapy, a multidisciplinary clinic in St. Albert. We are on a mission to provide exceptional, family-centered care to the children and communities we serve, and we are growing. We are seeking a passionate Registered Dietitian with a pediatric focus who is available part-time.

Flexible Schedule: You set the pace — start with a few sessions per week and build from there.
Varied Caseload: Work with children across diverse backgrounds and presentations, including picky eating, feeding difficulties, food allergies, growth concerns, GI conditions, and more
Supportive Team Environment: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of SLPs, physiotherapists, and other allied health
Billing Handled for You: Our admin team manages all billing and invoicing so you can spend your time on client care, not paperwork

Responsibilities & Skills

Assess nutritional status and provide evidence-based dietary counselling for pediatric clients mostly ages 0–14 and their families
Address a range of concerns including picky eating and food selectivity, feeding disorders, food allergies and intolerances, growth and weight concerns, GI conditions, and disordered eating in adolescents
Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans in partnership with clients, families, and the broader care team
Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed
Participate in team meetings, trainings, and cross-disciplinary case discussions
Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all client interactions
Openness to collaboration and feedback to ensure alignment with clinic standards
Experience with teletherapy is an asset

Qualifications

Must be: Registered with the College of Dietitians of Alberta (CDA) and in good standing
Demonstrated interest in pediatric nutrition, including feeding development, picky eating, allergies, and family-centered care
Ability to work independently in a contractor capacity
Liability insurance required
