Junior Production/Social Digital Coordinator

Looking to start your career in the world of marketing and design? We are looking for a creative, detailed focused professional who would like to join our creative team. As a Junior Production/Social Digital Coordinator, you’ll create and design a variety of marketing elements in both social and digital creative platforms. This is an in-person position located in Edmonton, Alberta.

The BDG Junior Production/Social Digital Coordinator is responsible for supporting and executing creative design and creation of marketing elements including traditional dn digital media. In addition the role will be responsible for digital marketing assets and content across various channels including email, social media, website, collateral, sales support documents and paid media. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging, branding, and performance tracking and will support the Director of Marketing in delivering content and assets to support corporate programs, events and customer assets as required.

Duties / Responsibilities:

Social Media Content Design & Development:

Be part of the creative department in asset production, including corporate templated design, digital marketing and materials.
Contribute to the design, and produce elements aligned to campaigns, including social feeds, content management, traditional advertising, sales collateral, websites and product packaging.
All things social media including LinkedIn, Meta accounts, YouTube and other channels.
Understanding how Web platform WordPress works and developing materials and content updates within the current Website structure.
Ability to write simple content and implement into a design format.
Creative knowledge of animation design and experience in creating digital videos.
Capturing creative visuals through photography with focus on products, scenes and people.

Marketing Strategy and Analysis:

Digital analytics experience, understands how to derive audience profiles and metrics to validate ROI metrics.
Stay informed on the latest social media, video, and content marketing trends.
Manage daily content schedules to ensure timely publishing across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
Maintain strict compliance with platform advertising rules and best practices to prevent ad rejections and protect account integrity.
Conduct regular analysis of key performance data to identify areas for optimization.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing or advertising.
Minimum of two years marketing experience in a corporate environment, advertising, or media agency.
High proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
Proficient in WordPress and other website platforms.
Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Resourceful, creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines all without jeopardizing quality.
