About this role:
Evergreen Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery located in Edmonton, Alberta is currently recruiting a full-time Pre-Planning Sales Director to join our team to serve the greater Edmonton are as an Arbor Memorial representative.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and providing final arrangement planning services by contacting and meeting clients to pre-arrange their final wishes for funeral and cemetery products and services.
We are looking to fill this position with a qualified, action-oriented and self-motivated individual who is capable of prioritizing and handling multiple demands simultaneously.

Key Qualifications and Demonstrated Abilities:
- Passion for customer care demonstrated in previous professional experiences and a strong discipline for working in a customer-centric service organization. Experience in business development, sales and customer success is an asset.
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and account management practices.
- Willing to demonstrate active community involvement and establish a positive profile of the cemetery and funeral home within the community.
- Highly focused on achieving and exceeding sales results and ensuring full compliance of all federal and provincial regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate ability to build strong partnerships with Cemetery Operations, Funeral and Home Office Centers of Excellence to achieve Company revenue goals and objectives.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Working various lead sources, contracting and visiting client families to assess pre-arrangement needs.
- Communicating the Company’s Pre Need Final arrangement planning program.
- Generating new business by participating in company sponsored events, mall and trade shows, following up on referrals, presenting to community organizations, hosting seminars,, notifying agencies and special groups about the pre-need funeral program and reviewing all files.
- Ensuring all contracts and files are completed with accuracy and required signatures are obtained.
- Maintaining files and information by utilizing company programs and a CRM tool.
