Job Title: Rig Mechanic – NOC 72400

Vacancies: 3

Term: Full-time, permanent, some overtime

Location of Work: 5906 44a St, Leduc, AB T9E 7B7 and various locations in Alberta

Wage: $45.00 per hour depending on experience

Education Requirement: Related Trade Certificate

Experience Requirement: 3 to 5 years of related experience

Workplace Language: English

All Service Drilling is looking for three Rig Mechanics to join their growing company based at their location in Leduc, Alberta. You will work with a solid team in an industry that is fast paced, interesting and cutting edge! The successful candidates will be eligible for enrolment in our company benefits program that includes extended medical, dental, vision care, and basic life insurance, as well as our RRSP program.

Job Duties:

· Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

· Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, according to layout plans using hand and power tools

· Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up and repair

· Inspect, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic drill rigs (Atlas Copco Sanvic, etc) including electrical systems, diesel engines, and associated parts.

· Inspect and test drill units, diesel compressors, high pressure water pumps, diagnose faults and malfunctions, repair and replace mechanical units.

· Service and repair light duty vehicles including trucks (Toyota), telehandlers and forklifts.

· Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions

· Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts

· Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up

· Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work

· Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.

Job Requirements:

· Complete and pass a pre-employment drug test
