Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean dining area. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, along with strong communication and time management skills. The position offers opportunities for growth within the hospitality industry and requires a professional attitude focused on guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, attentive service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks efficiently while ensuring presentation quality
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including table setup and breakdown
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and service
Assist with basic food preparation tasks when necessary
Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
Address guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services at all times

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cashiering
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; hospitality background is a plus
Ability to multitask effectively during busy periods using good time management skills
Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions
Knowledge of food industry standards for serving, upselling, and guest engagement
Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation is advantageous but not required
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
