Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, customer service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced food service environment where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. Previous Subway experience is preferred. The Sandwich Maker plays a vital role in delivering a positive dining experience for our customers through timely and quality food preparation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer specifications
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including kitchen stations and equipment
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Manage time effectively to ensure orders are completed promptly during busy periods
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate
Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Assist with stocking supplies and rotating stock to ensure freshness and availability
Ensure all food safety standards are met in compliance with health regulations
Process transactions accurately using cash registers or POS systems, including handling cash and credit card payments

Qualifications

Previous Subway experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment is preferred.
Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the team

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
