We are seeking our next Manager, an independent, trustworthy individual who will ensure every guest will experience an immaculate room and a pleasant stay.

Package & Benefits:
In addition to a competitive salary, the package includes,
- Performance Based Profit Sharing: Be rewarded for the impact you make. With multiple upcoming regional projects, Edson is well positioned for sustained success. Team members who consistently achieve and exceed annual performance and business targets can expect to participate in a profit sharing program, providing an additional financial reward for exceptional contributions and results.
- On-Site Accommodation: A 2-bedroom manager’s suite with utilities, laundry, Wi-Fi and cable fully covered, valued at $15,000 per year.
- Work-Life Balance: Castle’s small footprint of 16 suites and the longer staying customer base offers a good balance. A typical day requires 5-6 hours of active work, followed by any on-call availability if needed.
- Vacation: 2 weeks per year
Key Responsibilities:
As our Operator in Residence, you will live on-site and take full ownership of the motel's daily operations. This is a hands-on role where you will typically manage tasks independently, with extra support brought in during peak or heavy periods.
- Guest Relations: Handle check-ins, check-outs, and phone/email inquiries promptly and warmly.
- Property Care & Grounds Maintenance: Take pride in maintaining a welcoming, well-presented property by ensuring suites are cleaned to a high standard and move-in ready. Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed and assist with light seasonal outdoor duties, including snow shoveling, lawn mowing, and basic landscaping. These outdoor responsibilities are minimal and intended to help keep the property looking its best year round.
- Business Growth: Develop efficient workflows and implement ideas to improve overall hotel performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous hospitality or property management experience is preferred, but we value all customer service and building maintenance backgrounds.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using computers and email, with a willingness to learn our simple reservation system.
- Core Values: Absolute adherence to ethical working practices and a genuine passion for high level guest care.
- Independence: Self motivated and comfortable working solo to maintain high guest satisfaction.
