Overview

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Bartender and Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food and beverage service. The position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a lively environment while delivering memorable experiences to our guests.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes and presentation guidelines
Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and accommodating special requests
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
Assist with food preparation when necessary, including basic kitchen tasks and food handling
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service
Follow all sanitation procedures to uphold health standards in food industry operations
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction

Requirements

Able to work at night in the bar
Confident in working alone
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards is desirable
Basic math skills for billing, change calculation, and upselling techniques
Experience in food handling, serving, or kitchen operations is advantageous
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
