Reports to: Supervisor, Welding Shop
Shift: 7x7, 12 hours per day
Safety Sensitive: Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required
Travel: this role will travel up to 25% within Canada
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation
- Help keep the shop running smoothly by organizing materials, tools, and equipment

Schedule vehicle maintenance and maintain shop checklists

Support Journeyman welders, mechanics, and machinists with day‑to‑day tasks

Move machinery, tools, and products to the right locations in the shop

Take on general labour duties in an industrial environment

Prep parts for painting and assist with sandblasting and painting

Use hand tools and basic fabrication/assembly skills

Deliver parts or components to local mine sites as needed

Jump in on other tasks as assigned — every day is a bit different
- High school diploma

At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, oil & gas, or mining environments

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude

Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted

A safety‑first mindset

Bonus points for welding, grinding, or carpentry skills

OSSA, CSTS, or First Aid certifications are an asset
