Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. This role involves preparing high-quality food items, assisting in meal assembly, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent food handling skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant setting. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation according to recipes and quality standards
Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met
Assist with plating and garnishing dishes before they are served
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential
Familiarity with meal preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment is advantageous
Experience working in the food industry or restaurant experience will help ensure a smooth transition into this role
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
