St. Joseph’s General Hospital Elliot Lake (SJGHEL) is a Centre of Excellence and was founded on the rich history and legacy of the Sisters of St. Joseph, who built and administered the Hospital. SJGHEL is a 55-bed hospital with three satellite sites. It is the largest corporation in 3.5-hour corridor between Sault Ste. Marie and Sudbury, Ontario that provides; Obstetrical Services, Intensive Care, Surgical Services, Specialist Clinics, Addiction Treatment Services, CT Scanning, Dialysis Services, and Inpatient/Outpatient Diabetes Education and Care. We also provide the largest Satellite Oncology Program with over 500 visits annually.

As a Physiotherapist, you’ll work across diverse units, including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, and CCU, as well as St. Joseph’s Manor, to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. From preventing injuries to restoring functional independence, your expertise will make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients every day.Should You Decide to Embrace the Opportunity. · Promote optimal mobility, physical activity and overall health and wellness.

· Work collaboratively to create and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

· Educate, motivate and counsel patients and their families.

The ideal candidate will possess:

· Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario in good standing.

· Demonstrated knowledge of community resources.

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.

· Proven ability to work independently, and prioritize workload.
