Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for skilled, energetic, and customer-focused Bartenders to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing beverages, providing excellent guest service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This position is best suited for experienced bartenders who can confidently manage a busy bar while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, glassware, and utensils
Use the POS system (Micros POS preferred) for orders and payments
Ensure compliance with food safety and responsible alcohol service regulations
Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking when required
Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service flow
Handle cash and card transactions accurately
Assist with opening, closing, and side duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 2 years of bartending experience is required. Applications without relevant bartending experience will not be considered.
Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant, pub, or bar environment is strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service
Experience using POS systems (Micros POS experience is an asset)
Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy service periods
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol service regulations
Smart Serve Certification is required or must be obtained before starting employment
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night shifts
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when required
