Salary Range $52,500 - $55,500

As our Administrative Assistant, Finance you'll play a key role in keeping our financial operations accurate, efficient, and on track. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their accounting career in a supportive, team-focused environment where your contributions truly matter.

What You'll Do

No two days are exactly the same! You'll be responpsible for:

Managing the Accounts Payable inbox and processing invoices, statements, and supporting documentation.
Preparing invoices for entry and approval within our accounting system.
Matching purchase orders with invoices to verify pricing and quantities.
Coding invoices and employee expense reports accurately to the appropriate GL accounts.
Building positive relationships with suppliers by responding to inquiries professionally and promptly.
Assisting with supplier statement reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
Maintaining organized electronic financial records, including invoices, receipts, and banking information.
Collaborating with Procurement and operational teams to confirm receipt of goods and services before payment.
Managing invoice approval workflows across multiple departments.
Supporting month-end close activities and special finance projects.
Providing backup support to Accounts Receivable when needed.
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the Finance department.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative role preferred.
Basic understanding of accounting principles, particularly Accounts Payable processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Experience with accounting software (Explorer experience is considered an asset).
Accounts Receivable experience is a plus.
