Job Overview

As a Brewer, you will be at the forefront of the brewing process, transforming raw ingredients into high-quality, flavorful gluten free beers that delight our customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills, creativity, and dedication in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence. You will oversee all stages of brewing, ensure quality standards are met, and contribute to the innovative spirit of our brewery.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor brewing equipment throughout all phases of the brewing process, including mashing, boiling, fermentation, conditioning, and packaging.
Measure and record critical parameters such as temperature, pH levels, gravity, and other quality indicators to maintain consistency and excellence.
Collaborate with the production team to develop new recipes and improve existing brews based on sensory evaluation and customer feedback.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all brewing equipment and work areas in compliance with safety standards and health regulations.
Manage inventory levels of raw materials like malt, hops, yeast, and adjuncts to ensure smooth production flow.
Conduct quality control tests on finished products to verify flavor profiles, clarity, carbonation levels, and overall quality before packaging.
Document all processes meticulously for traceability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills

Proven experience in brewing or a related beverage production environment with a strong understanding of brewing science.
Knowledge of fermentation science, microbiology principles, and sanitation practices essential for maintaining product integrity.
Ability to operate complex brewing machinery safely and efficiently while troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping skills for batch documentation and quality assurance.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members across departments.
Physical stamina for lifting heavy ingredients or equipment and standing for extended periods during shifts.
Certification or training in food safety or brewing technology is a plus but not mandatory.
