Cigar Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s highest-grade uranium mine. The uranium produced at Cigar Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. The Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing routine warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, storing, and issuing materials; monitoring and correcting inventory levels as required; and providing training and support to junior employees.
In this role, you will:
- Issue materials from various warehouse facilities
- Respond to material requests and queries
- Receive, inspect, and load/off-load general freight
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior employees
- Use electronic devices and systems, including SAP
Required:
- grade 12 education or equivalent;
- minimum of five years’ related work experience in an industrial warehouse environment;
- experience with job kitting, cycle counting, and MRP review;
- equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
- advanced computer skills, including the use of ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Excel, and handheld devices;
- forklift and loader operator certifications;
- valid Class 5 drivers’ license;
- excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
- work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Recommended:
- experience working with SAP; and
- previous training in first aid, WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods.
