Responsibilities

As an Automotive, Agriculture & Industrial Supply Parts Specialist, you will:

Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers in person, over the phone, and electronically.
Answer incoming calls professionally and respond promptly to customer inquiries.
Identify, source, and recommend automotive, agriculture, and industrial supply parts and products using electronic catalogues and company software.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently while ensuring timely delivery or customer pickup.
Communicate product features, benefits, availability, and warranty information to customers.
Build and maintain positive relationships by providing knowledgeable, friendly, and solution-focused service.
Process sales, returns, exchanges, and refunds using the point-of-sale system.
Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, shelving, cycle counts, and annual inventory.
Prepare stock replenishment orders and help maintain appropriate inventory levels.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor, warehouse, and work areas.
Complete paperwork and system documentation accurately.
Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations and provide excellent customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

1–3 years of experience in parts sales, retail, or a similar customer service role.
Knowledge of automotive, agriculture, and industrial supply products is considered a strong asset.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn industry-specific software.
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
Strong verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a dependable work ethic.
Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
Ability to frequently lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, reaching, and stocking shelves.
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling company and customer information.
