Full job description

Location:

Pleasantdale School, located in the community of Estevan, SK

Term:

Start Date: June 29, 2026

End Date: August 31, 2026 with possibility of extension

Tenure:

Temporary

Hours of Work:

Equivalent to 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Duties:

Duties are outlined in the attached .

Qualifications:

Minimum Grade 10 education (Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred)
Valid Fireman's Certificate is an asset but not required
Valid Driver's License
Direct experience in the caretaking field would be considered an asset
Demonstrated understanding of cleaning procedures, cleaning processes, products and equipment is preferred
General mechanical/plumbing knowledge and aptitude
Must have the ability to operate tractors, mowers, and equipment efficiently and safely
Knowledge of computers and applicable software
Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone School Division

Salary & Benefits:

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated SEIU-West Collective Agreement as listed on our website . The starting wage for this position is currently $23.49/hour along with a full benefit package and an employer defined pension plan.
