Job Overview
We are looking for an automotive sales professional who understands the car business and is ready for something different.
This role is ideal for someone with dealership, sales, auction, or wholesale experience who enjoys buying and selling vehicles, reading the market, building relationships, and making deals, but is tired of the traditional retail sales grind.
Instead of waiting for walk-ins, chasing showroom traffic, and working long retail hours, this position focuses on wholesale buying, dealer-to-dealer sales, networking, and moving inventory.
This is a fully remote position with coaching, support, and strong growth potential. We are a fast-moving company and promote quickly based on performance, reliability, results, and the ability to take ownership.
You do not need to be an expert in every part of the wholesale process. We provide guidance and coaching. Your main focus will be buying, selling, building relationships, finding opportunities, and making deals.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Buying and sourcing used vehicles through auctions, dealer networks, wholesalers, and online platforms
- Selling and moving inventory through wholesale channels
- Building and maintaining relationships with dealers, wholesalers, auction contacts, and other automotive industry partners
- Reviewing market values, vehicle condition reports, Carfax history, pricing trends, and resale potential
- Identifying vehicles with strong profit potential
- Negotiating with dealers, auctions, wholesalers, and buyers
- Communicating clearly with management on opportunities, risks, and market changes
- Working in a fast-paced remote environment where speed, accuracy, and follow-up matter
What You Will Not Be Stuck Doing
This role is not focused on retail sales, showroom traffic, administrative busywork, or handling every issue behind the scenes.
Your main job is simple: buy vehicles, sell vehicles, build relationships, and help move inventory.
We have support in place for operational issues, arbitration claims, paperwork, and other backend processes so you can stay focused on deals and growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Automotive sales, wholesale, buying, auction, or dealership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of used vehicles, market values, trims, condition, and resale demand
- Comfortable negotiating with dealers, auctions, wholesalers, and buyers
- An established network of dealer, auction, wholesale, or automotive industry contacts is considered a strong asset
- Strong phone, text, and email communication skills
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple opportunities at once
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote position
- Confident using online tools, auction platforms, spreadsheets, and market research
- Motivated by profit, opportunity, performance, and growth
- Willing to be coached and apply feedback quickly
- Able to take ownership instead of waiting to be told every next step

Requirements
- Previous automotive industry experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s licence required
- OMVIC licence is an asset
- Wholesale, auction, or dealership experience is an asset
- Established dealer, wholesale, auction, or automotive industry relationships are an asset
- Must be reliable, professional, self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience and structure will be discussed during the interview. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the company and be rewarded for performance.
