Duties & Responsibilities:

Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy

Qualifications:
- Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)

Minimum 4500 hours total time with the following breakdown:

1000 hours total time transport category jet aircraft in CARs 705 Airline Operations

500 hours PIC on transport category jet aircraft in CARs 705 Airline Operations
-
Recent airline flying experience within the last 24 months
-
English language proficiency ICAO level 5+

The following are considered an asset:
-
Previous autothrottle and/or generation 4 aircraft experience

Previous ratings/experience on E170 type variants

Previous CARs 705 Airline Operations training and checking experience

Aviation College or University Degree
-
Must possess the legal ability to work in Canada.
- Must posses a current, valid Canadian Passport, or a current, valid International Passport with a valid US Crewmember Visa (C-1/D)

Pilots that do not meet the minimum requirements may be considered based on experience and other factors determined by the Flight Operations Management team
