Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food and beverage service. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork and efficiency are valued, and all roles are paid positions.

Duties

Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages responsibly as a bartender
Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and attending to their needs promptly
Ensure proper food handling and safety standards are maintained at all times
Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas
Assist in setting up tables, refilling supplies, and closing duties at the end of shifts
Demonstrate effective time management to handle multiple tables and bar orders simultaneously
Uphold hospitality standards to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests

Experience

Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
