Overview

Join our vibrant culinary team as a Dishwasher/Prep Cook, where your energy and attention to detail will help keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our food service operation, ensuring dishes are spotless, ingredients are prepped for cooking, and the kitchen environment remains safe and organized. Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies for cooking staff
Support the kitchen team by maintaining a clean work environment, including sweeping floors and cleaning prep stations regularly
Handle food items safely by following proper food handling procedures and adhering to health regulations
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food supplies, ensuring proper storage and inventory management
Support cooking staff with meal preparation during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders
Follow all safety protocols related to kitchen operations and maintain a safe workspace for all team members

Skills

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to perform basic meal preparation tasks with attention to detail
Familiarity with serving procedures and understanding of kitchen workflows
Strong organizational skills to keep work areas clean and supplies stocked efficiently
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
