Hours of Work: 9:00am to 1:00 pm, 20 hours per week.

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced part-time Accounting Technician to join our finance team.
This role is vital in supporting accurate financial operations, maintaining accounting records, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, data entry, and accounting software, with the ability to manage various financial tasks efficiently. Duties
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Perform data entry for financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
- Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Assist with account analysis and budgeting activities to support financial planning
- Maintain and update financial records in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments
- Prepare reports related to financial activities for management review
- Process payroll using HRIS sytem HUMI
Skills
- Strong Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and account analysis
- Ability to handle data entry accurately and efficiently in various accounting platforms
- Familiarity with financial services processes including budgeting and account management
- Excellent math skills for account analysis and reporting purposes
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to adapt quickly to different accounting systems such as Workday or PeopleSoft
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments
- Experience with payroll systems including HUMI
