About Bid-AI: Bid-AI is a successful Canadian startup building AI-powered tools for the auction industry. Our platform helps auction houses modernize cataloguing, descriptions, translation, marketing, data optimization, image organization, and more. We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to help expand Bid-AI across Canada.

Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and contact key decision-makers at auction houses through phone, email, social media, and industry connections.
- Conduct compelling virtual demonstrations of the Bid-AI platform and clearly communicate its benefits.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage the initial client onboarding process.
- Attend occasional client meetings, industry events, and company meetings as required.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of and prior experience in the auction industry, including work with an auction house, consignor, auction marketplace, or auction-technology provider — mandatory.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar client-facing role.
- Comfortable learning, using, and demonstrating technology.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently from home.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and closing skills.
Compensation and Job Type
- Guaranteed base salary of $1,800 per month for part-time employment or $3,600 per month for full-time employment, plus uncapped commission.
- Expected total monthly compensation ranges from approximately $3,500 for part-time employment to $8,000 or more for full-time employment, depending on sales performance.
- Part-time option: approximately four hours per day.
- A full-time option may also be available.
- Employment from the first day; this is not an independent-contractor position.
- Work-from-home position with occasional in-person client meetings.
- Attendance at an in-person company meeting in the Niagara Region every two weeks.
