Full job description

$ 1500 Sign On Bonus for LOCAL Journeyman Electrician

Requirement: Sign on bonus to be paid out after 90 days of employment.

Division 26 Inc. is seeking motivated and skilled Electricians to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial, residential, industrial and service-based electrical projects. Our team takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality work, backed by strong local roots and a commitment to client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment in commercial buildings, industrial, residential properties, and service environments.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute efficient installations.
Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks to industry and company standards.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostics on systems, including low-voltage and control wiring.
Collaborate with other trades on renovation, retrofit, and new construction projects to ensure seamless project delivery.
Conduct inspections, perform testing, and verify code compliance and safety of all electrical installations.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and training support to apprentices or junior electricians when required.
Respond to service calls in a timely, professional manner, maintaining clear communication with clients and dispatch.

Qualifications:

Journeyman Electrician or registered Apprentice (1st–4th year).
Valid driver’s license and clean abstract.
Strong understanding of CSA, CEC, and Alberta Building Codes.
Ability to work independently on service jobs or collaboratively on larger projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Safety-focused mindset with current certifications (e.g., CSTS, WHMIS, Fall Protection considered assets).
