Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting with a focus on quality and efficiency. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position is essential in upholding the high standards of cleanliness that our organization values.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and special requests from clients or supervisors

Skills

Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage techniques is a plus
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks which may involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies
