Schram Crane & Rigging Ltd.

With nearly 30 years background in the Crane and Rigging training industry, we are dedicated to bringing safety to the workplace. We specialize in all aspects of crane and rigging safety training from Basic Rigging to critical lift management. We are proud to provide Red-Seal Journeyperson Crane Operators, with unprecedented knowledge and experiences.

We are currently looking for a Full-time Permanent Crane Safety Instructor to join our team. While reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful applicant would be responsible for:

Presenting a variety of crane safety courses locally and throughout western Canada.
Assisting with the ongoing development of training material.
Assisting with the development of Crane and Rigging Procedures for clients.

· Provincial or Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Mobile Crane Operator

· 10 years + experience with crawler and all terrain experience

· Subject matter expert in the Crane and Rigging industry

· Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures

· Class 5 drivers license with clean driving record (required)

· Valid Standard First Aid-CPR, HS2, and WHIMIS certifications

The successful applicant would be an outgoing individual with an excellent work ethic. Must be punctual, with a positive attitude, as well as be able to think on their feet and solve problems as they arise. The applicant must be comfortable with public speaking with groups as large as 20+ participants and be fluent in English. They should also be knowledge in Microsoft Office and proficient with technology.

Our head office is in St. Albert, Alberta. This job will require working both locally and remotely throughout Western Canada.

Pay: $50.00-$85.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

St. Albert, AB T8N 3Y7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

Experience:

Crane Operating: 10 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

Red Seal Mobile Crane Certification (required)

Willingness to travel:

75% (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in St. Albert, AB T8N 3Y7
