Cross Country Canada Supplies & Rentals Inc. (CCCSR) is a rapidly growing industrial supply and rental company with locations throughout Alberta and British Columbia. We support pipeline, civil construction, industrial, oil & gas and mining projects by providing equipment rentals, industrial supplies, and customer-focused solutions across Western Canada.
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team based out of Fort St John BC. Candidates must be local to the FSJ/Dawson and surrounding area.
The ideal candidate will bring experience within pipeline construction, civil construction, oil & gas, industrial projects, or related industries, along with a strong understanding of customer service, relationship management, and business development. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and can confidently manage opportunities from initial contact through to completion.
This role is well suited for a driven sales professional who is motivated by hard work, values professionalism, has an existing book of business and represents both themselves and the company with integrity.
Duties and responsibilities
- Promote and rent/sell CCCSR products and services
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships within assigned territories and markets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while supporting existing accounts
- Conduct sales calls, site visits, and customer meetings
- Prepare and deliver presentations tailored to customer and industry needs
- Manage customer opportunities from initial contact through quoting, closing, and ongoing support
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient execution and customer satisfaction
- Maintain awareness of market conditions, industry trends, and competitive activity
- Attend trade shows, customer events, and industry networking opportunities
- Provide product and service demonstrations when required
- Resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Provide regular updates and reporting related to customer needs, sales activity, and market opportunities
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while representing CCCSR in the field

- Working knowledge of supply and rental operations considered an asset
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of outside sales experience with a proven track record of success
- Industry experience within pipeline, civil construction, industrial construction, oil & gas, or related sectors preferred
- General understanding of equipment rentals and industrial supplies considered an asset
- Experience with inventory or rental management systems considered an asset
- Experience in large scale Alberta infrastructure projects considered an asset
- Related education, training, or certifications in sales, business, marketing, communications, or operations considered an asset but not required
- Valid driver’s license required
Working conditions
- Travel within the region will be required
- Occasional overtime or weekend work may be necessary
- Comfortable working in both office and field environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required

Pay: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
