Heavy Duty / Commercial Transport Mechanic

Reliance Ventures is a privately owned chemical and fluid hauling company based in Fort St. John, BC, Grande Prairie, AB and Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

We service Northeastern BC and Northern Alberta with our fleet of tank trucks.

We are currently seeking a Heavy Duty and/or Commercial Transport Mechanic to join our growing team.

What We Offer

Key Responsibilities

Perform repair and maintenance on all company equipment
Continuously improve operations, reduce turnaround times, and streamline work processes
Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks
Collaborate with the shop foreman on timelines and priorities to meet company goals

Qualifications

Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician Certificate (or equivalent)
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (minimum); Class 1 or Class 3 licence considered an asset
Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
Demonstrated commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices
Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity
Ability to perform the physical demands of the role
Integrity, reliability, and willingness to respond to after-hours calls when required
Willingness and ability to pass industry-required drug and alcohol screening
