Job Title: Junior Office Assistant / Logistics & Grading Support

Location: Francis, Saskatchewan

About Us

Victoria Pulse Trading Corp is a Canadian agri-commodities company with a processing facility in Saskatchewan and head office in Vancouver. We specialize in processing and exporting high-quality pulses and grains worldwide.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Office Assistant / Logistics & Grading Support to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in both office administration and agricultural commodity grading.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide day-to-day support to the Office Administrator / Logistics Clerk.

· Assist with general office tasks including filing, data entry, answering phones, and responding to emails.

· Help prepare and organize logistics documentation such as Inland Bills of Lading, courier waybills (Purolator, DHL, etc.), and shipment paperwork for truckers and freight forwarders.

· Assist with preparing and sending product samples, including coordination with third-party inspection companies such as SGS.

· Support communication with truckers, suppliers, and internal teams.

· Maintain organized records and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.

Grading Support Responsibilities

· Assist in grading agricultural products such as lentils, peas, and canary seed.

· Learn and apply grading standards and procedures.

· Maintain proper documentation in accordance with product grading results.

· Support quality control processes and ensure consistency with company standards.

Qualifications & Skills

· Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

· Interest in agriculture, logistics, or commodity trading is an asset.

· Willingness to learn product grading and industry standards.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook).

· Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

· Ability to take initiative and handle multiple tasks.
