An Outside Sales Representative in a residential & refrigeration setting focuses on meeting and interacting with potential and existing clients face-to-face to sell products or services. They build relationships, identify customer needs, and close deals while working independently and meeting sales quotas.
What you will accomplish with us:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identifying and contacting potential customers through various methods, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Building Relationships: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication and in-person meetings.
- Needs Assessment: Understanding customer needs and preferences to tailor product or service offerings.
- Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Presenting product or service solutions to potential clients and negotiating contracts.
- Closing Deals: Securing sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting and CRM Management: Tracking sales activities, updating customer data in the CRM, and preparing sales reports.
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service and addressing client inquiries and concerns.
What You Bring to Our Team:
- Post Secondary education in HVAC-R or a related discipline
- Demonstrate experience/knowledge in HVAC-R industry (an asset)
- Advance knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel)
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication, active listening, and the ability to build rapport are essential.
- Sales and Negotiation Skills: Strong sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and closing skills are crucial.
- Product Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the products or services being sold.
- Customer Service Skills: Ability to handle client inquiries, address concerns, and provide excellent customer service.
- Self-Motivation and Independence: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and stay motivated to meet sales goals.
- CRM Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems for managing customer data and tracking sales activities.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and organize sales activities.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and address customer issues and concerns.
Additional Considerations:
- Travel Requirements: Outside sales positions often involve significant travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct sales activities.
Compensation Information:
Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 annually
Supplemental Pay Types Include: Annual bonus
The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s skills and experience, in compliance with applicable regulations.
