The Opportunity
CLEARVIEW is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Product Analyst to join our Product Development team. This role goes beyond traditional business analysis — we are looking for someone who can help shape the future of our products and drive innovation across our web and mobile platforms. As a Product Analyst, you will serve as the critical link between customer needs, business objectives, and technical execution. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions that support the evolving demands of the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. This is an opportunity to influence product direction, champion customer outcomes, and contribute to the development of intelligent, scalable software solutions that strengthen our market leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Innovation
- Contribute to the evolution of CLEARVIEW’s product roadmap by identifying opportunities for innovation and operational improvement.
- Become a subject matter expert in CLEARVIEW’s platform, customer operating models, and product workflows so that requirements, backlog items, and pre-dev handoff materials reflect real operational needs.
- Support the integration of advanced capabilities such as AI-powered chatbots, predictive analytics, and intelligent workflow automation across web and mobile platforms.
- Ensure product enhancements align with business objectives, customer needs, and long-term strategic goals.
Business Analysis & Customer Engagement
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to understand operational challenges and translate them into clear business and technical requirements.
- Create detailed user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and product discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Management, Development, UX/UI, QA, and Marketing teams to drive successful product delivery.
- Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews.
- Help ensure delivered solutions meet quality, usability, and performance expectations.
Continuous Improvement
- Research emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive solutions within the QSR and retail technology space.
- Leverage modern AI productivity tools to improve documentation quality, efficiency, and analysis workflows.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance team effectiveness and product delivery outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience working within a software development or product organization.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-mapping capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Evaluate and use AI tools thoughtfully to improve analysis speed, documentation quality, knowledge capture, and readiness of work entering delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), retail, or hospitality technology industry.
- Familiarity with UX/UI concepts and customer-centric product design.
- Experience working with Generative AI tools to enhance productivity and documentation.
- Exposure to defining requirements for AI/ML-enabled solutions, including conversational AI or knowledge-based systems.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, CSPO, or Pragmatic Institute certifications are considered an asset.

- This position is based in Fredericton, NB (Remote/Hybrid)
- Ability to maintain focus and manage detailed analytical work in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to support departmental priorities and project timelines when required.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
- Occasional travel may be necessary for customer engagement or internal collaboration.
Reports To: Senior Director, Product Development
Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000
