Ramada Hotel Fredericton is currently seeking a Full Time Front Desk Agent. MUST BE WILLING TO WORK NIGHTS, WEEKENDS AND OVERNIGHTS! We are looking for someone special to join our dynamic team. You must be passionate about delivering outstanding guest service, outgoing, very friendly and team-oriented and truly enjoy meeting people while providing the ultimate guest experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Efficient check-in and check-out of our guests - Maintain accurate guest accounts - Analyze front office reports and balance guest room inventory - Maintain a high level of customer service at all times - Balance cash/credit cards - Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (morning/afternoon/evening/weekends ) - Promote a positive work environment - Creative and dynamic thinker (we love new ideas and suggestions) Qualifications and Experience: - Prior experience in the hospitality industry and/or retail customer service environment or related field a definite asset - Experience with Opera reservation system a definite asset - High school diploma/GED is a must - Must be professional in demeanor and well-groomed - Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail - Strong analytical skills - Excellent listening skills - Excellent oral/written communication skills - Bilingualism (English/French) a definite asset - Computer-friendly - Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions - Ability to multi-task and remain calm and confident - Teachable and ability to learn and work in a team environment About Ramada Hotel Fredericton : Ramada Fredericton features Atlantic Canada's only 10,000 square foot indoor Mediterranean courtyard.
