Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Inclusion Support Worker to assist students with diverse learning needs within an educational setting. The ideal candidate will support classroom teachers by providing tailored assistance to children with disabilities or special education requirements, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. This role involves working closely with students, educators, and families to promote positive learning experiences and developmental progress.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one support to children requiring additional help, ensuring they can participate fully in classroom activities
Support students with tasks related to early childhood education core
Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that promotes social-emotional development
Collaborate with teachers and families to monitor and adapt support strategies accordingly
Assist in managing behavioral challenges and promoting positive behavior through supportive techniques
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all policies and procedures related to student welfare
Assist in hygiene support and daily care

Skills

Prior classroom experience or background in teaching or early childhood education is preferred
Experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting diverse learners
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

Pay: $17.12-$27.33 per hour
