Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with medical or dental offices, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace is highly desirable. The Front Desk Agent will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other relevant software
Handle appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently
Maintain organized filing systems both digitally and physically, including medical or dental records if applicable
Assist with administrative duties such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and supporting office operations
Process payments and handle bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software
Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette
Ensure the front desk area remains tidy, organized, and welcoming at all times
Perform clerical tasks such as filing, copying, scanning, and document management

Requirements

Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or front desk support
Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and data entry tools
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in typing and proofreading
Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication abilities
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while managing multiple priorities
Prior experience in medical or dental reception is advantageous but not mandatory
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment
Strong organizational skills to manage filing systems and administrative tasks effectively

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
