Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on all brands of cars, light trucks and SUV's. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles , ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The technician will utilize a wide range of tools and technical knowledge to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles.
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and system inspections.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately.
Repair or replace mechanical components using welding, electrical skills, or specialized assembly techniques.
Follow safety protocols during all maintenance procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Assist with troubleshooting electrical systems and mechanical failures across all makes and models
Work with team to provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician with dealership or independent shop experience preferred..
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic software effectively.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Experience working with automotive repair systems and understanding of vehicle electronics and assemblies.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues accurately.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver’s license required; relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
