Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing installation and repair, with a focus on quality workmanship and safety. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring roofs are durable, weatherproof, and built to code. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of construction practices and be capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, or membrane roofing
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during roofing operations
Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment as needed
Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
Assist with carpentry tasks related to roof framing or structural support when necessary
Maintain a clean work site, adhering to safety standards at all times
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
Experience with caulking techniques for weatherproofing applications
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various tasks
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials as required

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
