Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Auto Appraiser to join our team in Ottawa. In this role, you will evaluate vehicle damages, estimate repair costs, and ensure our customers receive top-quality service. This position plays a vital role in maintaining our reputation for excellence in automotive collision repair.
Responsibilities

Assess vehicle damage and determine repair needs with precision.
Prepare detailed estimates for repair costs using industry-standard tools.
Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians.
Ensure all estimates comply with company policies and industry standards.
Collaborate with the repair team to facilitate efficient workflow.
Maintain accurate records of assessments and estimates.
Stay updated on industry trends and new repair techniques.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the appraisal process.
Qualifications
Proven dealership or mechanic experience with a strong mechanical knowledge.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to accurately assess vehicle damage and prepare estimates.
Knowledge of automotive repair processes and industry standards.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
At least one year experience as a collision damage appraiser
Experience in upselling services is a plus.
Previous cash handling experience is beneficial but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
