REAL ESTATE OPERATIONS AND LEASING COORDINATOR

POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, the Real Estate Operations and Leasing Coordinator supports the daily operations of The Met and actively participates in its residential leasing activities.
Working on-site, the Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for residents, prospective tenants, vendors and operational teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Property Operations
- Support the Property Manager with daily operations and priority follow-ups.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property, common areas and vacant units.
- Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, unit turnovers, vendors and work orders.
- Monitor maintenance activities and promptly report situations requiring attention.
- Participate in the after-hours emergency rotation when required.
Residential Leasing
- Respond to prospective tenants, assess their needs and conduct tours of available units and common areas.
- Professionally present the apartments, services, inclusions and current promotions.
- Follow up with prospects and actively contribute to the property’s occupancy targets.
- Collect required documents and prepare leasing applications, leases, renewals and addenda.
- Keep leasing activities and tenant files current in Yardi and the CRM.
Resident Services and Administration
- Respond to resident requests and provide professional follow-up within established timelines.
- Document important communications and actions in Yardi.
- Follow up on overdue payments, tenant insurance and administrative files.
- Prepare purchase orders, status reports and other documents required by the Property Manager.
- Assist with resident communications, community activities and local initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two to four years of experience in residential real estate, leasing, sales or customer service.
- Strong commitment to customer service, excellent administrative skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a solution-oriented approach.
- Experience using Yardi and a CRM is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in both French and English is required.
- Occasional availability during evenings and weekends.
