Appletree Medical Group and Canadian Health Systems (CHS) are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Digital Marketing Coordinator to support day-to-day marketing and communication activities across both organizations.
This role is ideal for an early-career marketing professional looking to gain hands-on experience in healthcare, patient communications, digital marketing, and content management. The successful candidate will assist with website updates, email campaigns, social media content, patient communications, and marketing coordination initiatives that support patient engagement, brand awareness, and business growth.
This is an on-site, part-time position based in Ottawa.
Digital Marketing & Content Support
Assist with the creation and scheduling of digital content across email, website, and social media channels
Support patient-facing marketing campaigns and awareness initiatives
Update website content, blog posts, and digital assets as needed
Help maintain consistent branding and messaging across platforms
Assist with basic graphic coordination and content formatting
Patient & Corporate Communications
Support the coordination of patient email and SMS communications
Assist in preparing newsletters, clinic announcements, and promotional materials
Help support internal communications and physician-related updates when required
Coordinate content and communication requests from operational and clinical teams
Social Media & Online Presence
Assist with managing and monitoring social media platforms
Support online reputation management by monitoring patient reviews and feedback
Help track website and social media engagement metrics
Assist with basic SEO and digital visibility initiatives
Administrative & Marketing Coordination
Help maintain marketing calendars, campaign schedules, and project timelines
Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed
Assist with organizing marketing files, assets, and reports
Support general administrative tasks related to marketing initiatives
Reporting & Analytics
Track basic campaign metrics including email engagement and website activity
Assist with compiling marketing performance reports
Help identify opportunities to improve communication and engagement efforts
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital media
- Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and website content management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Experience with Canva, WordPress, Mailchimp, or similar tools is considered an asset
