We are hiring Armed Driver Cash Transporter’s for our Cash Services division at our branch in Nanaimo, BC.

EXCLUSIVE TRAINING WITH GARDAWORLD CASH FOR OBTAINING A FIREARMS POSSESSION AND ACQUISITION LICENCE (PAL)

GardaWorld Cash is currently looking for new talent to join our team of Armed Driver Cash Transporters in our Nanaimo branch.

You dream of being an Armed Driver Cash Transporter, but you don't have your RPAL (restricted firearms license)? We're here to help! GardaWorld takes care of the RPAL Trainings and offers support for the license request.

What we offer

Casual Position
Starting Wages: $24.94 / hour
Free training for selected candidates
Full uniform (shirts, pants, bulletproof vest, coat etc.)
Non-routine work with variable hours

What you’ll be doing

Perform the pickups and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client
Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM (automated banking machine) from various financial institutions
Ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers
Follow established routes and schedules closely
Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
Load and unload the armored vehicle
Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork
Responsible for the distribution and receipt of moneybags, receipts, daily route guides, route keys to fellow Armed Driver/Messengers
Verify bulk orders received from the vault, other departments, and external sources
Respect the procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorld Cash
Additional job duties may be assigned as necessary

What we’re looking for

Possess a valid Restricted and Non-Restricted endorsed Firearms License (PAL: Possession and Acquisition License)
Possess a valid class 5 driver's license with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points
Possess a British Colombia Security Licence or be willing to obtain it if hired
Capable to lift loads up to 50 pounds
Available to work on-call for evenings, nights and or weekend shifts with no minimum guaranteed hours
Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
Customer service oriented and skillful in managing stressful situations
Highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable to cope with pressure and tight timelines
