Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Shift4 POS system.
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and pairings to enhance the guest experience.
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and adherence to food safety standards.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to health regulations and restaurant policies.
Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
Support host/host duties during peak times, ensuring efficient guest flow.

Requirements

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in fine dining or upscale establishments.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
Familiarity with food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately; experience with cashiering is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is advantageous.
Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is desirable but not mandatory.

Must be available to work weekends.
Must be available for morning shifts starting at 7:30 AM.
Must be available for evening shifts until closing.
