Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes. This role is vital in promoting independence, safety, and well-being for individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with disabilities, or individuals recovering from illness. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to caregiving and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others through personalized care.

Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide medication reminders and administer medications as prescribed (training provided if necessary)
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and preferences
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces
Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when required
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with supervisors and family members

Requirements

Experience in assisted living, nursing home care, hospice care, dementia care, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
Knowledge of patient care practices and caregiving techniques
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility support
Strong organizational skills for meal preparation and medication administration
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently while following care plans and protocols
Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation duties
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; some positions may require evening or weekend availability
Certification in caregiving or relevant training is a plus but not mandatory; training opportunities available for motivated candidates
