Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Sterilization Technician / Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. This dual-role position offers an opportunity to contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient medical environment while providing essential administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of Dental terminology and demonstrate excellent communication skills, ensuring smooth operations within our facility.

Duties

Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment following established protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance schedules.
Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient files, and answering phone inquiries.
Support clinical staff by organizing supplies, managing stock levels, and ensuring the cleanliness of the work environment.
Follow all safety procedures related to sterilization processes and healthcare regulations.
Ensure proper documentation and adherence to infection control standards at all times.

Requirements

Prior experience or training in sterilization procedures within a healthcare setting is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable to facilitate effective communication within the clinical team.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and inventory management.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with staff and patients.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
