Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various cottage rental and residential spaces. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Prior cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals committed to high standards of cleanliness.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in designated areas
Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure they meet health and safety standards
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly
Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines at all times
Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness throughout the shift
Clean linens for rental properties and make beds appropriately, along with restocking supplies
Assist with special cleaning projects as needed

Qualifications

Previous custodial or residential cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Must have own transportation and own vehicle
Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
