Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Events Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in planning, executing, and overseeing a variety of events, such as meat draws, billards, card games, sports viewing, karaoke, trivia, meal nights, ceremonies, fundraisers and commuinty gatherings) to ensure seamless experiences for our members and guests. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills, with a background in hospitality highly advantageous. As an Events Coordinator, you will be the key point of contact for event planning and coordination, ensuring all details are managed efficiently from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with vendors and manage volunteers
Maintain and advertise on social media and other channels
Manage event setup and breakdown, ensuring all aspects adhere to safety and quality standards
Oversee guest services during events, addressing any issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
Ensure effective communication with all team members and stakeholders throughout the planning process
Monitor event progress and make adjustments as needed for smooth execution
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement

Skills

Strong background in marketing, hospitality
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Knowledge of social media management skills
Exceptional time management skills
Effective communication skills
Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail in planning and execution
Budgeting experience for managing event costs within financial constraints

Proficiency in coordinating logistics and managing resources efficiently
