Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and assisting customers with product selections. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales or product demos are a plus. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop retail sales skills and grow within our company.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services
Operate the POS system accurately for cash, credit, and digital payments
Handle cash handling duties with precision and accountability
Provide product demonstrations and explain features to customers
Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer experience
Maintain merchandising standards and organize displays effectively
Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism
Ensure a clean and organized checkout area at all times
Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth store operations

Requirements

Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features confidently
Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Professional phone etiquette and customer interaction skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when needed
Multilingual capabilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
