Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service to guests while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere where customers feel valued and satisfied. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, cashiering, and hospitality operations within a vibrant environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using our POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS technology.
Prepare and serve food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation meet company guidelines.
Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety regulations.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales by recommending popular or new offerings.
Assist with food handling responsibilities such as plating, portioning, or basic food prep when needed.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of the food industry.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cash handling.
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining high-quality service.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and processing transactions smoothly.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus for supporting team operations during peak times.
